This wine has really astonished us when tasted. Even though it rather rich, its reveals an incredible fine structure and finesse. Aged 10 months in french oak barrels, this pur cabernet develops perfumes of black fruits , de cherry and raspberry, then cedar, roast and chocolate. Its ampleness find an echo in the firm and silky final that slowly goes on flavours of blueberry and chocolate.
Tasting Note:
Everything started with a commun passion for wine and the will to find the best terroir in order to create great wine there. Nicky Hahn and his wife have travelled through Califonia during 2 years. And it is in the valley of Monterey Country, between Santa Barbara and San Fransisco, that they find this unique sight. In 1991 this estate Why is there a rooster on the label ? Hahn signifies rooster in german. An honneur to the european origines in the land of the New World !
